Google Pixel 8a Expected to Come with a Higher Price Tag

A recent report from a reliable source suggests that Google Pixel 8a smartphone could come with a notably higher price tag, especially within the EU.

German retailers have indicated that the Pixel 8a is set to cost €570, a noticeable increase from the Pixel 7a, which began at €500. The Google Pixel 8a phone will be available in two variants: one featuring 128GB of storage and the other offering 256GB, with the latter priced at €630.

Internal listings from German retailers suggest that it will reportedly come in four colors at the beginning of sales. These colors are Obsidian (black), Porcelain (beige), Bay (light blue), and Mint (light green). It’s worth noting that not all colors may be available for both storage variants, as the 256GB model is currently exclusively listed in Obsidian.

Expected to hit the market in April or May, the Google Pixel 8a is rumored to showcase Google’s Tensor G3 SoC and boast 8GB of RAM. Differing from its predecessor, it will feature a more rounded design and include two rear cameras within a ‘visor’ extending across the phone’s back—a distinctive Pixel characteristic that has become widely recognizable.
