The model suggests a book-style foldable phone with a horizontal camera layout, lightweight body, and a display size similar to the iPad mini. The iPhone Fold may feature a 5.4-inch outer screen and a large 7.6-inch inner display, making it one of Apple’s biggest phones yet.
The leaked dummy model reveals that the Apple iPhone Fold may adopt a horizontal dual-camera setup, unlike the single camera expected on the iPhone Air. The outer display is designed for quick use, while the larger inner screen focuses on productivity and media.
The device looks like a mix of an iPhone and an iPad mini, reinforcing reports that Apple is blending its phone and tablet experience. Early iPhone Fold design details also point toward slim bezels and a clean, minimal rear panel.
To achieve a thinner and lighter body, the Apple iPhone Fold is rumored to use a titanium frame along with a liquid-metal hinge. This hinge is designed to reduce weight while maintaining durability.
Due to the lightweight approach, Apple may remove Face ID and use a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead.
